In its first year, Bridge at the Village has attracted over half a dozen players from the surrounding community. Thirty-two bridge players participated in club games. Together, they earned nearly two hundred ACBL masterpoints. About twenty of those bridge players are club members who play regularly. Club players participated in three Sectional Tournament at Club games (sometimes doing well at the ACBL regional level), two Club Appreciation Championship games (twelve players earning ACBL gold masterpoints), and one Inter-Club Championship game.
During the PHI Olympics held in October 2011, Scotia Village residents distinguished themselves by winning the duplicate bridge event. This victory satisfied one of the desires leading to the club‘s formation.
