Scotia Village residents formed Bridge at the Village in 2010. Sanctioned play began on January 3, 2011.

In its first year, Bridge at the Village met weekly at 6:00pm on Monday evenings in the Scotia Village cafe. Members of the bridge playing public have joined Scotia Village residents in the open, friendly duplicate bridge games played there. Typical weekly attendance fell between three and five tables.

Beginning on February 13, 2012 Bridge at the Village began using pre-dealt hands and hand records distributed by The Wednesday Game. This service includes weekly analysis of four to six interesting hands among the thirty-six distributed deals. After play, hand records and analyses become available on both our results page and The Wednesday Game web site.

Now, club members look forward to eventually hosting an ACBL sectional tournament in Laurinburg.
